We engaged WaikatoBuild back in 2021 with a vision to completely renovating our house. From this time Gavin has been always on the end of the phone to support the project and help us get the best possible outcome. Due to COVID 19 delays and weather dependent processes we got going on the project in October 2022. WaikatoBuild team did not muck around. They were straight into completely rebuilding the northern wing tying old into new. A full new steel structure was installed, and all the existing structure was aligned to the new walls and footings. By late November, the wing had its roof on with gib being fitted. From here the rest of the renovation was largely stripping all the old cladding and fitting the new system and joinery to bring up to the modern standard. This saw them completing the build by the end of February 2022. Not only would I say Gavin and the team did a good job they were fast and consistently delivered to deadlines. I would go as far to say they were re-clad experts. A job of this magnitude had potential to be highly stressful and very expensive. However, through the project my wife and I were always completely at ease as Gavin and the team always kept us informed. We always got the best value for our money with a first-class result in quality. Please if you are looking at building and/or renovating don’t look past Gavin and the team at WaikatoBuild they will always see you right.
